The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for generating purchase orders, following on order deliveries, coordinating order receiving, verifying purchase invoices and communicating with the vendors and 3PL warehouse. This position will also need to fulfil field service orders, process service part returns, maintain ERP system transactions and support supply chain related activities.

 

*This is a fixed term contract position currently expected to last for 6 Months*

 

Responsibilities:

  • Generate purchase orders in EPR system for the sales and service needs following the supply plan
  • Submit purchase orders to the vendors and follow up on the order status and delivery schedules
  • Prepare order arrival notices and coordinate with the 3PL warehouse for order receiving
  • Monitor shipment arrival at the 3PL warehouse and ensure timely inbound shipment receiving
  • Confirm purchase order receipt with R&D team and maintain order summary spreadsheet
  • Verify vendor’s invoices against the purchase orders and coordinate with Accounting team for payment
  • Receive field service part requests from the engineers and submit shipping orders to the 3PL warehouse
  • Create service jobs to the engineers and maintain shipping transactions in the ERP system
  • Monitor service part return from the engineers and provide receiving instructions to the warehouse
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to sustain uninterrupted material supply to the business
  • Assist periodical physical count and other operations in the warehouse as needed
  • Support overall corporate objectives and other tasks as assigned
  • Maintain positive working relationship with all stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain/logistics/operations management or related field is preferred
  • Two years of experience in supply chain or operations management is preferred
  • Responsive and flexible self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to multitask with strong attention to detail and adhere to deadlines in a fast-paced
  • Adept in working with 3PL warehouse, vendors and internal/external stakeholders
  • A team player with the ability to engage with cross-functional teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and good email etiquette
  • Proficient in MS Office including Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Knowledge in Epicor, SAP or other ERP system is a plus
  • Occasional visit to the warehouse is required
  • All candidates must be authorized to work in the US

Position Summary

Sony Biotechnology, located in San Jose, CA is seeking a Temporary Digital Marketing Specialist to join their team.

The Temporary Digital Marketing Specialist will focus on supporting tactical activities for CRM, eCommerce, and Digital Marketing channel support with a focus on timeliness. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience with CRM (salesforce.com), Marketing automation tools (Adobe Marketo) and digital marketing (email marketing and basic web support) in the Life Sciences sector. They will partner with the team and execute tactical projects in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Provide eCommerce and catalog support (manage catalog updates on the website)
  • Provide marketing automation (Adobe Marketo) content support; work with the team on implementation of content
  • Work with CRM (Salesforce) administrator to review reports and distribute dashboards to provide better view of utilization.
  • Coordinate requests from users and work with administration team for implementation based on priorities
  • Use HTML to modify existing assets
  • Provide assistance maintaining postings on social channels
  • Route and manage in process marcom content between various stakeholders (consolidate feedback)
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience in working in a digital marketing role, preferably in a Life Sciences company or equivalent
  • Experience with MS Office suite with strength in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Minimum 2 year experience with working with CRM (Salesforce) and Marketing automation (Adobe Marketo platform)
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Basic HTML and WordPress experience desired
