Movio is experiencing major growth at a global level and has a need for a full-time LA-based Account Manager – Film Studios.

The Account Manager, Film Studios is responsible for managing both the day-to-day operations of, and client relationships within, Movio’s suite of film studio solutions in the USA. This includes the Movio Media, Madex and Research products and services available for film studio clients in this region.

Reporting to the VP, Business Development in the USA, the Account Manager, Film Studios will ensure the delivery of an exemplary client experience at all stages of their engagement with Movio. This includes business development support, product onboarding, guiding ongoing client usage, and providing insights and recommendations to further engage with clients and to ensure their retention and satisfaction with Movio. They will work collaboratively with Movio’s Client Services, Product and Data Science teams, acting as a bridge between stakeholders to ensure the continual improvement of Movio’s product, services, and relationships with clients.

Core responsibilities include

Account Management:

  • Confidently demonstrate and communicate the value of Movio’s products and services to clients and prospects
  • Build effective day-to-day working with relationships with clients through proactive account management
  • Faciliate business review meetings with key clients to share insights, learnings and recommendations based on the client’s usage of Movio’s products and services
  • Communicate the Movio product vision and roadmap to clients
  • Translate client needs and business objectives for Movio stakeholders in other areas of the company
  • Undertake other activities as directed by the VP, Business Development

Business Development:

  • Support the VP, Business Development with proactive business development of film studio campaign and product license proposals
  • Support Movio leaders with drafting and finalization of license agreements, SOW’s and IO’s.
  • Maintain regional film release tracker.
  • Assist with budgeting for all Movio Media, Madex and Research related products and services.
  • Reconciliation and reporting of Media, Madex and Research remittances for participating Movio Cinema clients and third-party suppliers

Product Onboarding:

  • Will work directly with Movio Media, Madex and Reseach clients to ensure the smooth delivery of contractual obligations. This includes liaising with agencies, third-party data onboarders, modelling partners and internal Movio stakeholders as required to deliver upon:
  1. Digital campaign delivery
  2. Email campaign execution
  3. Weekend Audience Reports
  4. Research Platform training
  5. Madex Platform training

Insights and Analysis:

  • Prepare weekly Insight Reports for subscribed clients including handling the analysis of audience behaviours and trends from within the Movio Research product
  • Manage post-campaign reporting, including identifying initial findings and insights and preparing presentation for clients
  • Track emerging trends in the digital media/ad tech space in order to recommend new products, services and/or partnerships for Movio
  • Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect, or client needs

  • Be a flexible quick-thinker, who can handle varying demands in time-sensitive situations in a patient, calm and effective manner
  • Have excellent written and oral communication skills and a personality that quickly builds rapport and professional relationships
  • Work effectively in complex and often remote environments with multiple stakeholders
  • Be self-motivated, positive, energetic and result oriented

Qualifications and Experience

  • 3 or more years’ experience in marketing, sales or account management
  • Experience interpreting data and presenting data insights
  • Strong knowledge of, passion for, or experience in the film industry
  • Media agency experience is considered advantageous
  • Experience developing targeted marketing campaigns at an agency or CRM provider preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Relevant tertiary qualification
