Santa Rosa Extrusion and Medical Device Manufacturing Operations is looking for an Equipment Maintenance Technician on 1st Shift.  This position requires the ability to accomplish assignments with limited supervision, perform diversified mechanical, electromechanical or electronic technical duties in fabricating, testing, debugging and documentation of moderately complex to complex assemblies, sub-assemblies and simple engineering development models and/or adaptations of standard product and new processes and equipment maintenance.

The person that takes this role will be expected to support the Extrusion Operations to ensure extrusion process smooth production, quality compliance improvement and improve process stability. This position will be part of an off-load transfer team moving extrusion production to another U.S. Medtronic production site. After which, this Equipment Maintenance Technician II will continue to support Medtronic’s other Medical Device Operating Units in Santa Rosa.

A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repairs on line manufacturing or plant equipment.
  • Locate and diagnose failures, replace defective components, and perform basic troubleshooting using standard electronic equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals, and verbal and/or written instructions.
  • Maintain appropriate maintenance and repair logs.
  • Use a variety of hand, power, and test tools and equipment.
  • May redesign optical, vacuum, electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems for incorporation on existing manufacturing equipment.
  • May estimate labor and equipment costs and prepare requisitions as required.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience.
  • Recommended basic job knowledge of production related systems and procedures.

  • Ability to work well on teams
  • Experience with GMP requirements and medical industry requirements
  • Able to define PM procedures and review/maintain spare parts for the equipment
  • Experience in process and tooling development, test method development, data acquisition and analysis
  • Clear understanding of EHS requirements.
  • Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Word

A Day in the Life

As a Senior Mobile App Software Engineer, you will work under the guidance of an engineering manager and collaborate with the system architects to develop and test Mobile Apps.  Responsibilities include developing, testing, and maintaining the software for either Android or iOS Apps. You will apply knowledge of software design and V&V methods to develop and test safety critical, fault tolerant apps.

•    You are familiar with software engineering best practices for either iOS or Android Mobile software development.

•    You can interpret, understand, and provide feedback on software requirements for a project.  This includes performing requirement analysis to determine completeness and compliance with software system.  You can work with requirement management tools.
