Job Description

The Senior Manager of Strategic Sourcing, Services will be responsible for driving global sourcing activities and initiatives across a group of categories $200M+ including Professional Services, Temporary Labor, Management Consulting, BPO and HR Services requiring experience of sourcing medium to highly complex categories.

This role will serve as a strategic leader and contact point responsible for building and managing relationships with key suppliers and Intuit business owners and will be required to identify global strategic sourcing initiatives, drive cost savings, identify and impact efficiencies and support growth strategies within the respective departments supported.

This role also requires the development and execution of sourcing strategies, with an equal emphasis placed on the ability to identify, analyze, and quantify opportunities as well as the ability to manage RFI and RFPs and handle vendor negotiations.

Basic Qualifications

  • Relevant industry experience
  • 5-10 years of strategic sourcing or consulting experience (e.g., RFI/RFQ/RFP, reverse auctions, interests-based direct negotiations)
  • Experience with ERP and Source-to-Pay tools
  • Experience leading a team
  • Experience developing and/or presenting business cases
  • Comfort with written and verbal communication of quantitative and qualitative information with executives
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or other quantitative discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in contract development, administration, and/or management
  • Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment with several stakeholders
  • Experience in negotiating deals with global vendors

Qualifications
Proven leader in data space with 7-10 years of experience leading conversations across teams to drive for clear business requirements as well as build and launch products

Understand large-scale data platform capabilities and possess enough technical depth in the areas across these data capabilities (analytics and engineering) to assess risk and find solutions
Demonstrated ability to think end-to-end, lead long-term programs, and to manage multiple programs simultaneously within a program portfolio

Ability to go hands-on code reviews/ ETL processes / Data model reviews /create Source to target mappings, technical requirements and overall data solutioning

Have a strategic lens to create roadmaps, standardization of E2E data mart solutioning process, enable self- service reporting
Ability to track, report-out, structure and appropriately communicate the scope of the data enablement to a broad variety of stakeholders (data engineering/ data science/ analytics / product managers)
