Georgia Pacific is looking for a Senior Accountant! This role can sit remotely (travel as needed) OR if in the Atlanta, GA area, work a hybrid schedule.

This role will support our Packaging Segment Revenue team and will be responsible for a variety of revenue related accounting workstreams. The successful candidate must be self-directed, able to manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines. Intellectual curiosity and a desire to acquire new proficiencies are also important success factors for this role.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Perform month-end closing activities and support company-wide reporting needs
  • Perform financial statement reviews and balance sheet account reconciliations, maintain financial statement integrity
  • Reconcile financial data between source manufacturing systems and reporting systems
  • Provide testing, validation, and feedback to support business migration to a new ERP
  • Lead and participate in projects to optimize current business processes
  • Work with internal/external auditors and provide audit support

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or work experience demonstrating progressive responsibility and knowledge
  • Experience with general accounting functions (i.e. general ledger, month-end close, intercompany transactions, account reconciliations, account analysis)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel – spreadsheet creation/editing, pivot tables, data manipulation/analysis and formula creation, etc.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as: PowerBI, Tableau, or Alteryx
  • Work experience in accounting or financial analysis

For this role, we anticipate paying $70,000-90,000 per year.

We have a critical role in our Copper Solutions Business Unit for an Engineering Manager. This leader will have regional responsibility for new product development and overall engineering activities as part of the product portfolio and technology roadmap. The Manager will be responsible for leading engineering staff responsible for developing high speed connectors and cable assemblies. This person will also drive and support continuous improvements for global processes. As Molex embarks on a digital transformation journey, this will participate in activities to improve overall Product Development processes.

The most important element of leadership at Molex is providing the appropriate guidance, coaching and prioritization across the Business Unit. This person will set priorities, delegate workload and develop policies and procedures consistent with divisional and business unit standards.

 This role will be in Conway, AR, Lisle, IL, or remotely located. We will provide relocation. 

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Direct activities of engineering staff to successfully drive the development of new cable products and modifications to existing cable products.
  • Drive and execute new technologies aligned to the needs of the market and the technology roadmap.
  • Drive Product Development Planning (PDP) execution on new products with collaboration across program management, product engineering, signal integrity and manufacturing integration teams to clearly identify critical customer requirements and milestones.
  • Ensure the engineering department supports sales and marketing activities including providing designs, prototypes, and technical presentations in a timeframe, which satisfies the customer.
  • Review and approve engineering project/product documentation and engineering analysis for consistency and accuracy.
  • Reviews and screens product development requests for feasibility and completeness.
  • Ensure that plant personnel, marketing and other appropriate personnel are notified on product changes, modifications and extensions.
  • Interface with all levels of management to resolve problems and issues that have reached critical level regarding design, quality, etc.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the product development process to improve efficiency of time and cost and establishes an environment that encourages creativity and value generation.
  • Develop a talent management platform intended to drive the most value to the individual and the organization.
  • Hire, train and coach a regional engineering team and supporting staff.
  • Understand, support, and contribute to Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Quality (ISO 9000-2000), and Environmental Management (ISO14000) Systems by following approved policies and procedures.

Georgia-Pacific has an immediate opening for an Area Manager – in our Wood and Fiber Supply organization. This role will be based out of Georgia Pacific Headquarters in Atlanta, GA or remotely from a surrounding Southeast state.

Georgia-Pacific Wood and Fiber Supply is key to ensuring that GP’s 80+ mills maintain a constant flow of logs, wood fiber and chips. W&FS operates in some 15 U.S. states, and sources its wood from private lands owned by industrial, institutional, or individual landowners. Reporting to the Regional Fiber Manager, this individual will be responsible for developing a team of professionals who maximize long-term value for the US SE Coastal Fiber Area.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Environmental, Health and Safety excellence – lead team to pursue excellence in these areas for all aspects of performance. Understand and apply the risk management system (RMS) for the team
  • 10,000% Compliance – manage operations by setting high expectations for compliance including the Code of Conduct – set an example for the team of compliance excellence
  • Develop long and short-term sales/sourcing strategies for US SE Coastal Fiber Area. Provide leadership for your team to apply MBM® for lowest cost/highest value sales/sourcing programs.
  • Communication – direct communication with regional WFS leadership. Support innovation and experimentation for both WFS and manufacturing. Stay abreast of issues and respond appropriately
  • Ensure that business risk profiles are understood and implemented in Group sourcing plans
