Full Job Description

ERPi is seeking an experienced statistician to lead workforce analysis for the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) portfolio evaluation program, working directly with the team of management professionals and data scientists. The selected individual will have a strong background in statistical analysis specifically related to workforce and human resources data, to inform portfolio decision-making. The ideal candidate will have direct experience with the Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (FEVS) and similar employee-related datasets. Responsibilities include:

  • Leading statistical analysis of workforce and employee/ human resources data to inform portfolio-level insights, impacts, assessments, and recommendations. This includes personnel review analysis, diversity assessments and reporting, training impact analysis.
  • Synthesizing feedback data from the Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (FEVS) and similar employee-driven feedback mechanisms to assess trends/ patterns, outliers, and working with the team to generate understanding.

This role is temporarily remote due to COVID; Must be able to report onsite in Bethesda, MD upon client request.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • At least 4 years statistical analysis experience
  • Bachelors or master’s degree in statistics/ related data analysis field
  • Experience working with employee/workforce data sets such as Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (FEVS), Bureau of Labor Statistics, Department of Labor, Census data, etc.
  • Experience working with human resource related data programs
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools

ERPi is currently searching for a full-time Policy Analyst to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This role contributes to improving the VA employees and Veteran’s lives and working towards a larger mission.

 

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has launched the VA Logistics Redesign (VALOR) program to transition VA from its legacy core supply chain system to a modernized cloud-based supply chain system.  VA selected the Defense medical logistics Standard Support (DMLSS), along with its technical refresh, LogiCole, for its logistics and support services management system. The VALOR Program management Office (PMO) is leading the DMLSS/LogiCole implementation enterprise-wide starting with VA medical centers (VAMC).

The candidate will gain in-depth knowledge of various VALOR programmatic functions and transformational initiatives and be required to synthesize and clearly communicate the roles and responsibilities related to those initiatives.

  • Supporting program analysis, business process redesign, operational planning, activation, meeting planning and facilitation, performance measurement, change management and communications, and data analysis.
  • Managing a portfolio of policies and collaborating with VALOR subject matter experts to develop and update VALOR policies.
  • Designing and developing policy requirements that include legal authority; performance metrics; resource needs; costs analysis; and communications plans.
  • Conducting field-based interviews to identify the root causes for ambiguous policies and inconsistent processes.
  • Analyzing local level policies to assess implementation inconsistencies and providing recommendations for improvement in VHA national policy to VHA Program Office leadership.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 5-7 years of work experience in consulting, healthcare, law, or policy
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to define, collect, and analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and make logical decisions
  • Strong computer skills with a proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products with an emphasis on Word
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent teamwork
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Federal Healthcare consulting, legal, risk management, or technical writing/editing experience
  • Master’s degree
  • Publication in scholarly or professional journals
  • Understanding of project management best practices such as PMI’s PMBOK
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
