Job Summary:

The Analyst I, Information Security is responsible for planning and implementing security measures to protect agency computer systems, networks, and data. The Analyst I, Information Security is expected to stay up to date on the latest intelligence, including hackers’ methodologies, in order to anticipate security breaches. Responsibilities will include preventing data loss and service interruptions by researching and implementing new technologies that will effectively protect systems, data, networks and maintain security standards. The Analyst I, Information Security, will support the Senior Manager, Data protection and information security in the implementation and execution of the unit Identity and Information Security Strategy and carrying out the organization’s way of handling security.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Research and evaluate emerging cybersecurity threats and ways to manage them
  • Support security controls implementation, reviews, and reporting as required
  • Implement provisioning and de-provisioning of user access to various enterprise systems and applications. Create accounts, assign permissions, delete accounts, and complete the appropriate modifications when a user’s role changes in the organization
  • Supports all access management control activities across all infrastructure systems
  • Lead and collaborate in the design, implementation, and support of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) technologies
  • Support the enrollment of Multifactor Authentication (MFA), and Single Sign-on (SSO)
  • Lead efficiency improvements by recommending process changes as well as developing solutions to automate and orchestrate repeatable tasks for IAM.
  • Provide expert leadership in defense tactics, and incident response processes and procedures
  • Monitor for attacks, intrusions and unusual, unauthorized, or illegal activities
  • Collect and performs data analysis to ensure compliance with ICT and security controls
  • Monitor and perform internal testing of ICT controls to support internal and external audits
  • Track and manage action plans for the resolution of issues identified during assessment or information security systems audits
  • Develop plans to mitigate security risks
  • Prepare reports that document security breaches
  • Plan for disaster recovery and create contingency plans
  • Update and refresh information security dashboard with service indicators (alerts, incidents, investigations, etc.), performance and trend indicators
  • Develop security awareness by providing orientation, educational programs, and on-going communication to agency staff, and continuously promoting security awareness across the organization

Key Working Relationships:

Internal:

Members of the Global Knowledge and Information Management (GKIM) Department, Regional and Country Program ICT staff, and owners of CRS business systems.

External:

NetHope and IT Vendors, peers from other NGO’s and consortiums focused on use of ICT in the relief and development sector.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in providing help desk services
  • Proficiency in the use of help desk tools
  • Strong knowledge of best practices, methods, tools, and techniques used to address information security such as those embodied in ISO 27001, NIST 800 and CObIT
  • ITIL Foundation certification.
  • Any of the following certification is a plus: CAP, CISSP or CISM
  • Good grasp of the technologies in use in CRS
Qualification

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cyber or IT related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Information Security administration
  • Experience in managing Information Security compliance
  • Experience using Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance Center, Microsoft Cloud APP security and Azure Security Center
  • Experience with Privilege Access Management solutions, Least privilege Access Management platforms and multi-factor authentication solutions among other technologies
  • Experience in managing Information Security compliance
  • In depth knowledge of Information risk concepts / relating business needs to security controls
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills, applied with a solution-focused attitude

Job Summary

The primary responsibility of the Bilingual Coordinator II is to provide overall administrative and operational support to Movement-Building and Issue-Based Campaign team within the Mission & Mobilization (M2) division. This includes organizing and implementing processes, coordinating logistics, serving as principal administrative contact, and providing training and orientation on systems and procedures and communicating with external constituencies. You will be responsible for working with all levels of staff and external constituencies while independently coordinating multiple projects.

The Bilingual Coordinator II supports the Chapter Management, Campaigns, & Hispanic Engagement (CCHE) Senior Director, National Advisors, the Chapter Management Director as well as the Hispanic Engagement and Campaigns teams.  You will also provide bilingual support to Charitable Giving’s Donor Services team.

Roles and Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and plan for the complex needs of events and Staff.
  • Manage logistics from start-to finish for events, both in-person and virtual, including constituent overseas immersion experiences.
  • Manage all administrative and logistical aspects pertaining to CCHE’s operations including business processes, internal and external calendars, Microsoft (MS) Teams channels’ functionality, resource curation, and responses to generally inquires.
  • Support the CCHE directors, Advisors, and Sr. Director in the areas of strategic planning to support achievement of chapter, Hispanic engagement, and campaign goals.
  • Assist with chapter building prospecting
  • Manage external communications including invitations, event reminders, follow up, resources, and information.
  • Provide CCHE team on an ongoing basis with knowledge management. reporting and training on CRS platforms including Gateway, MS Teams MyCRS, etc.
  • Collaborate with M2 colleagues on larger scale events and conferences as needed.
  • Cooperate with peers to develop consistent processes and best practices to support our work across the division
  • Oversee CCHE team’s Branding/Graphics practices to ensure adherence to CRS guidelines in collaboration with Marketing and Communication (Marcom), as well as M2’s Campaign team on production of PowerPoint graphic elements and other materials as needed
  • Provide direct support for virtual event production as part of a cross-divisional team that includes assisting with technical and logistical aspects from start-to-finish as well as video editing, production and publishing
  • Collaborate with Executive Assistant to manage divisional financial matters, including ongoing monitoring of budgets across all units, credit card reconciliation, payment processing, and guidance regarding financial systems and processes
  • Interpret and translate (English/Spanish) for the CCHE Team and M2 Division, with a close eye on cultural and linguistic nuances for both languages.
  • Serve as the department’s CRS brand ambassador to ensure adherence to CRS guidelines in collaboration with Marketing and Communication (MARCOM)
  • Facilitate engagement of consultants, and hiring of interns and/or summer hires as needed
  • Support M2 colleagues with special projects as necessary in coordination with Advisor II
Qualification

Basic Qualifications 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years administrative, office management or event planning experience

Required Languages-Bilingual (English, Spanish)

Work hours: Hours during regular core times 10 am – 3 pm EST and weeknight hours limited (i.e. 5 hours per month) and weekend hours (i.e. 3 hours per month)

  • Extensive knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
  • Financial and budget management a plus.
  • Knowledge of Catholic social teaching and the structure of the Catholic Church
