As an Ad Operations Manager, you will be responsible for performance operations of key advertising customers, who represent some of the largest companies globally. You’ll be joining a fast-moving team working to build the next generation of mobile search, focused on app content discovery, for potentially billions of devices around the globe. We’re seeking someone who’s excited to address unsolved problems in acquiring, understanding, and ranking content from inside of mobile apps. Working with our team means you’ll get the opportunity to learn and grow on a daily basis, interfacing with both technical and non-technical team members, and coordinating closelywith external customers.

As an Ad Operations Manager, you’ll get to:

  • Traffic acquisition and re-engagement app based campaigns against usage and query
    based digital inventory.
  • Flight campaigns in proprietary ad server/ technologies, via data manipulation tool sets
  • Partner with Account Managers for delivering high-performance outcomes for key
    advertisers.
  • Devise and deliver on tests across various optimization strategies for your customers.
  • Debug campaign flighting issues in an environment of perpetual product feature
    rollouts.
  • Perform daily optimizations and improvements to advertiser campaigns.

You’ll be a good fit if you have:

  • 3-5 years of experience with ad operations work in ad tech or media company.
  • Experience running mobile acquisition campaigns.
  • MUST love and be curious about data analytics and how that affects the bottom line.
  • Strong analytical skills with full proficiency in Excel/Sheets and SQL.
  • Intermediate skills in querying languages and technologies such SQL and Python
    • Can think through joining a table on itself when relevant.
    • Can generate complex data reports via group bys with aggregate functions.
    • Can do basic profiling just in a monitoring/debugging capacity like reading a log.
  • App-based MMP experience – setup, evaluation, troubleshooting basics

As a Technical Account Manager, you will work with our top accounts to strengthen and expand relationships by optimizing their use of the Branch platform. You’re an energetic and organized self-starter; you understand the sales process and technical details of a mobile SDK / API, can build and maintain relationships with the right decision-makers, and can succinctly define and communicate the specific technical benefits of Branch appropriate for each user. You will be a key driver of growth for the company and on the front lines for evangelizing our product to our key accounts.

As a Technical Account Manager, you’ll get to: 

  • Demonstrate how marketing teams and mobile app developers can utilize Branch in a variety of ways through trainings, demos, and strategy sessions via phone calls and on-site visits.
  • Work with the 20 top accounts to drive success through initial onboarding, product adoption, retention, and identifying value-add features.
  • Manage end-to-end implementation of Branch’s technology into the mobile applications & tech stacks of large global enterprises.
  • Lead sessions with engineering & product teams on Branch’s technical capabilities & integration process.
  • Provide business, technical, and product knowledge in support of post sales activities in order to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work with the customer to help advise and execute customer campaigns.
  • Serve as customer advocate internally by effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams including product, sales, marketing, and engineering.

You’ll be a great fit if you have: 

  • High proficiency in written and spoken English and Spanish, especially when it comes to customer software discussions.
  • 3+ years of experience of hands-on experience in a technical customer-facing role (i.e., Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Technical Account Manager).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects & deliverables running in parallel timelines.
  • Problem-solving skills around technical, product, and business questions.
  • Ability to understand & communicate details behind Branch’s SDK & marketing products with technical & non-technical customers.
  • Comfortability having technical conversations and building relationships with highly technical and non-technical people/
  • Experience pulling data & API logs using basic SQL.
  • Excellent verbal communication and writing skills.

Nice to haves: 

  • Prior experience as an engineer or sales engineer.
  • Prior experience at a growth stage Internet/Software company.
  • Prior experience in ad technologies or marketing email platforms.
  • Capability of debugging web technologies such as Javascript.
  • Capability of debugging mobile app development for iOS or Android platform.
  • Experience using Mobile Analytics platforms like Google Analytics & Adobe.
  • Experience using productivity tools like JIRA, Charles Proxy, Chrome Developer Tools, Command Line Interface, etc.
