WHAT YOU’LL DO

The North America Financial Planning and Analytics Team focuses on developing content expertise, critical business analytics, strategy development, and financial projections in partnership with senior leaders to drive key business decisions. As a Senior Financial Analyst within the Analytics team, you’ll work collaboratively across the broader FP&A team and with senior leadership in our North America business. You’ll have frequent interactions with senior stakeholders including function heads, Managing Director Partners, the Regional Chair, who heads BCG’s North America business, and North America’s CFO and COO.

This position will perform several critical responsibilities to support the business within our Analytics team, including:

  • Leveraging complex and sensitive people deployment data to unravel multifaceted business problems and deliver critical insights to firm leadership (Regional Chair, North America CFO, North America Staffing & Mobility Sr. Director, etc.
  • Creating and driving the adoption of improved processes and policies through teaming with multiple stakeholder groups to promote best practices across functions and teams
  • Analyzing our biggest people investment drivers across BCG’s consultant staff to develop business strategies and maximize our value proposition
  • Designing and delivering performance reporting including variance analysis, KPI tracking, and comparative analysis to benchmarks that will drive key business decisions
  • Complete ad-hoc requests and perform other duties as needed with minimal oversight in a timely manner

YOU’RE GOOD AT

  • Supporting leadership and other key customers by performing analysis and effectively communicating key takeaways and recommendations
  • Developing strong, collaborative working relationships with business partners across teams and levels
  • Applying strong analytical skills, judgement, attention to detail, and creativity to effectively solve problems

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or Math; MBA or Master’s degree a plus
  • 3-5 years of finance-related experience
  • Polished written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate, iterate and influence
  • Ability to synthesize large datasets and develop and/or pressure test comprehensive analysis to inform the business and drive decisions
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Business Objects, Alteryx, or Tableau a plus
  • Prior experience in a professional services environment a plus

The Operations Associate will primarily support the Global Procurement organization by delivering global supplier onboarding & maintenance as a part of the Procurement Service Centre (PSC). Reporting to Senior Sourcing Excellence Manager, you will ensure systems and process are updated to accelerate value proposition for the company.

  • Support the Supplier intake/onboarding process and act as the procurement point of contact for the same.
  • Support supplier maintenance process providing time zone, language, and local office coverage for all supplier and business issues.
  • Adhere to the SLA for various operations activities to be undertaken by supplier management (SM) service line under procurement service center (PSC).
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of completion for all supplier management support tickets/incidents and escalations routed to PSC.
  • Ensure a strong governance mechanism is in place for effective supplier onboarding including risk attributes gathering, due diligence checks, and risk assessment.
  • Manage/Collect/Load all necessary documents for suppliers e.g. Regulatory/compliance /tax/legal documentation in the system including following up to get the same.
  • Maintain Vendor Master Data in our system to a high level of data integrity, and in our Vendor Portal also manage suppliers’ distribution list and mass mailing.
  • Acting as liaison with Accounts Payable regarding invoicing issues, supplier terms.
