Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Order proper raw materials for work orders and charge out materials to work orders.
  • Supply and maintain the inventory of bags, boxes, totes and pallets.
  • Properly clean material hoppers, grinders and bins according to the production schedule.
  • Supply and maintain regrind usage through the vacuum loading system according to the department procedures.
  • Properly identify and label all materials in bins, grinders and gaylords according to the department procedures.
  • Assure regrind is properly stored and identified for reuse or resale.
  • Properly weigh and record regrind for resale and load trailer.
  • Ensure virgin and concentrate materials are supplied to the proper injection molding machine from the warehouse location and have been weighed and recorded according to the department procedures.
  • Ensure materials requiring drying are dried at the proper settings and the proper length of time according to the department procedures.
  • Maintain all housekeeping requirements for the warehouse and the production floor as defined in the department procedures.
  • Responsible for setting up auxiliary equipment necessary for the particular production run replacing, cleaning, and changing fitters and empty barrels.
  • Perform minor adjustments to auxiliary and material conveying equipment as needed under direction of a skilled team member.
  • Responsible for all required paperwork.
  • Assist other team members in cross training.
  • Maintain an open line of communication to assure all problems and changes are communicated and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Participate on safety and emergency response teams and attend monthly Safety Meeting and other meetings and teams as required or requested.
  • Comply with all departmental attendance and performance policies.
  • Work overtime as needed by the department.
  • Actively participate in Continuous Improvement teams and activities, including 5S, blitzes, Shift Start-up, updating PVD boards, etc.
  • Continuously improve through the KAS program, meeting department goals for completed KAS.
  • Comply with all local, state, federal, and BD safety regulations, policies, and procedures including RCRA Hazardous Waste regulations.
  • Comply with all local BD quality policies, procedures, and practices through consistent application of sound quality assurance principles.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Effective written and oral communication skills (English), basic math skills, and interpersonal skills
  • One to four years of manufacturing experience
  • Must meet company forklift certification

Medical Affairs is responsible for ensuring the safety and efficacy of Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS) products worldwide. The Medical Specialist, MDS will support this mission by supporting the work required for EU MDR and providing the clinical users’ perspective for new product development and changes / enhancements to current products.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Participates on multi-functional EU MDR project teams as a Medical Affairs Core Team Member.
  • Collaborates with Quality, providing Medical /Clinical input into the medical device Periodic Safety Update Reports (PSUR) and Post Market Surveillance Reports (PMSR).
  • Participates on EU MDR Labeling and other EU MDR Project Teams as the Medical Affairs Core Team Member
  • Reviews and provides input into Post Market Clinical Follow-up (PMCF) plans and provides support for the execution of the required PMCF activities.
  • Authors publications, study summaries, Clinical Assessment Reports and ‘White Papers’ to support regulatory submissions and marketing requirements
  • Provides guidance and expertise for clinical evidence generation (safety / efficacy / usability) required primarily for EU MDR
  • Collaborates with Corporate Clinical Development to provide input and support for Clinical Trials with BD products such as for the purpose of Registrations, Claims Support, and Product Validation in support of EU MDR activities.
  • Collaborates with the EU MDR Medical Writers to provide input into EUMDR Clinical Evaluation Reports
  • Participates on product development and sustaining engineering project teams, as needed, to ensure that new or modified products are safe and effective, meet the needs of clinicians and patients and to understand the need for current and future clinical trials and other requirements in collaboration with the Business Unit Associate Director, Medical Affairs and / or Director, Medical Affairs:
  • Supports functional management and the Business Unit Director, Medical Affairs in developing the Medical Affairs Strategy to support development, approval, and marketing of new or modified products.
  • Collaborates with the product development teams, creates or provides input into risk management assessment and documentation.
  • Provides guidance and expertise for clinical evidence generation
  • Collaborates with Corporate Clinical Development to provide input and support for Clinical Trials with BD products such as for the purpose of Registrations, Claims Support, and Product Validation.
  • Collaborates with the Marketing, R&D and other functions in the development, execution and documentation of product preference studies or surveys and in gathering voice of customer.

Participates in the review and evaluation of customer complaints related to product issues / functionality:

  • Assists in the follow up to complaints, the investigation of any product quality issues and the assessment and documentation of the potential health risk associated with product complaints and MDRs as directed.

ACR response:

  • Reviews and Evaluates MDS ACRs to identify MA requirements and provides MA assessment, primarily for EU MDR projects

Review Promotional Material / Labeling:

  • Assists in the development and review of product labeling, graphics, instructions for use (IFU) and marketing materials for accuracy, consistency and the existence of supportive data, primarily for EU MDR related activities

Maintains Clinical Expertise:

  • Maintains clinical / medical expertise for products within the Business Unit and their application as well as remains current on pertinent scientific literature, regulations standards and guidelines as it relates to trends in healthcare
  • Brings an understanding of the clinical setting, as it relates to use of BD products, to both internal and external customers
  • Actively maintains clinical acuity through relevant continuing medical / nursing education venues.
  • Provides clinical education opportunities for internal and external customers

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in health related field (Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, MD, DO) required. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a hospital care clinical setting
  • Previous medical device or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of statistics and clinical trial design
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Director, Temperature Controlled Logistics this position will understand the regulatory requirements and provide expertise to implement temperature controlled (cold chain) logistics strategy globally across multiple regions, business units and functions to ensure a GDP and cGMP compliant supply chain.   • Reporting to the Director, Temperature Controlled Logistics this position will understand the regulatory requirements and provide expertise to implement temperature controlled (cold chain) logistics strategy globally across multiple regions, business units and functions to ensure a GDP and cGMP compliant supply chain. This role will also collaborate globally to select, design, develop, qualify and implement temperature controlled shipping solutions. This role will handle multiple global projects to develop a harmonized, compliant and efficient temperature controlled supply chain throughout BD.
  • This position is remote and can be done from any USA location.
  • Initiate, lead and implement projects required to efficiently and successfully execute the temperature controlled logistics strategy globally ensuring cGMP and GDP compliance.
  • Collaborate with DC leaders worldwide to provide support in mapping storage areas for temperature and humidity
  • Develop and maintain a database of temperature controlled shipping systems used and approved within BD by temperature range, duration, lane etc.
  • Bring creative and innovative ideas and keep up to date with the latest innovations in temperature controlled supply chain, including but not limited to shipping systems, temperature monitoring including real-time IO

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum: BS in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics or related science field
  • 7+ years of experience in medical device, pharmaceutical or other life sciences industry with at least 5+ years in temperature controlled (cold chain) packaging, logistics, supply chain or quality.
  • Flexible to work different time zones when needed for meetings with Global Members
  • Must have a deep understanding of active and passive temperature controlled packaging and shipping systems along with temperature monitoring systems including real time IOT systems
  • Must have hands-on experience in designing, developing and qualifying shipping systems and processes for refrigerated, frozen, and controlled room temperature products including DQ/IQ, OQ, PQ protocols and reports
  • Must be familiar with principles of qualification and validation, global regulations and guidance documents on temperature controlled supply chain (e.g. GDP, cGMP, USP1079, USP659, PDA-TR39, WHO, etc.)
  • Must have experience in a global environment, working across multiple cultures, especially collaborating on-line globally
  • Must have broad knowledge of supply chain
  • Experience with sustainable shipping solutions, data analyticshighly matrix organization, and business case development is helpful

The Risk Management Coordinator provides administrative support for our Corporate Risk Management/ Internal Audit team.

Insurance Programs:

  • Supporting the team in gathering information needed for insurance program placement (Working across the organization to request and collate information)
  • Preparing documents for: presentations to underwriters, applications for insurance, and maintain Confidential Disclosure Agreements (with all insurers and brokers)

Invoicing

  • Ensuring all invoices are accurate, tracked, have proper approvals, and submitted for payment

Insurance Budgets

Liberator Medical Supply™ (LMS) has been serving urology and ostomy customers for more than two decades. LMS is dedicated to providing high-quality, innovative medical supplies combined with exemplary customer service, discreet delivery of supplies and support with insurance paperwork and representation.
We have an immediate need for Purewick Sales Representatives in a virtual call center!
This is a 100% remote, work from home position!
In this role you will facilitate intake of new and reorder Purewick customer product orders from multiple lead/referral sources and enroll customers into Liberator’s supply program.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Articulate the features and benefits of the Purewick system including knowledge of all aspects of use and maintenance of the equipment.
  • Complete initial and follow-up calls on prospective leads via inbound and outbound calls/dialer to include identifying and resolving customer concerns within the process
  • Maintain departmental call volume requirements to include inbound and outbound calls
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism on every call and provide excellent customer service to all Liberator Customers.
  • Meet or exceed monthly departmental sales goals as established by Sales Ops management.
  • Adhere to phone activity/compliance standards to include Medicare guidelines, HIPAA, ACW, and minimum call volumes.

To be successful in this role, you require:

  • 1+ years medical industry, sales, collections or call center/customer service experience
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret medical supply publications, technical procedures, and/or training tools.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
  • Ability to work some evening shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed

Education and experience required:

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
