Position Overview:

The Assistant Management Executive will work closely with two Management Executives and assist with the day-to-day operations of 8-12 Condo & Co-op properties located throughout New York City. The individual is responsible for maintaining communication with Board of Trustees/Directors and homeowners and work closely with the Management Executives on all manners of property financials and project management.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to: 

  • Working in coordination with his/her assigned Management Executives on ensuring, and enhancing the operational, mechanical, aesthetic, and financial functioning of all aspects of assigned client properties
  • Ensuring, and enhancing the operational, mechanical, aesthetic, and financial functioning of all aspects of assigned properties
  • Attending board meetings
  • Reviewing, processing, overseeing and filing the respective apartment altercation documents
  • Implementing preventive and ongoing maintenance programs and procedures to ensure the maintenance and smooth operation of assigned client properties
  • Performing all administrative functions regarding supervising assigned client property staff
  • Maintaining bank records and other records in the name of assigned client properties
  • Ensuring timely and accurate payment of property and other taxes, and recurring, vendor/contractor, and other assigned client property bills and obligations
  • Ensuring the timely and accurate provision to assigned client properties of monthly and other financial statements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any business-related field is preferred
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of Assistant Property Manager experience supporting multiple co-op and condo properties is preferred
  • Experience with BJ Murray is a plus
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite programs; specifically, Outlook, Excel, Word
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience handling and resolving tenant issues
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

The Building Operations Associate reports to the Director of Operations and is responsible for assisting with the preparation of comprehensive building envelope, infrastructure, & equipment life cycle reports

 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

 

  • Provide support and troubleshooting to clients on architectural, mechanical, and structural capital improvement projects
  • Perform building walkthroughs and prepare discovery reports for new business and management executive support
  • Assist with review of vendor contracts, drawings, and specifications to provide clients with best practices and work scope clarity
  • Assist with preparation of webinars on a variety of building construction, operation, and maintenance items
  • Review alteration drawings & specifications and provide clients with best practices and troubleshooting as required

Qualifications:

  • Minimum undergraduate degree preferred
  • 5-10 years of experience in a related industry (architecture/engineering/construction project management)
  • Architecture or Engineering related field preferred
